The Fern Residency, Bhuj

Nice arrangements, facilities are good. Food was amazing. Staff behavior is good. Transport arrangement for local sight seeing. Special arrangement like - Birthday party, campfire, Guitarist was too good.

This was my second stay at The Fern Residency, Bhuj and trust me it would have been my last stay there. Stayed there for 4 days in total. The First innings was a forgetful experience (i.e. first 2 days) in terms of the facilities & food. same food served for 2 days at the breakfast table, nothing fresh at all. One could understand that the Hotel was around 20% occupancy during that time but the least they could do is offer good food. I was on a verge of checking out at this point. But the Second innings i.e. next 2 days the tables turned around. Kudos to Mr Venkat ( Manager in charge of the Hotel). He heard my grievances on all counts and made immediate changes to the settings. Everything improved (especially the food served)and I wondered whether am I in the same place. I travelled with my 69 year old mother and Mr Venkat took utmost care of her food indulgences. There were other guests as well and Mr Venkat took special note on the minutest of things causing trouble (if any) to anyone. He was also very very receptive to new ideas shared with him by myself and other guests to improve guest stay. I had decided not to come back but only because of Mr Venkat I would come back definitely.

The hotel is clean and has basic facilities. The staff is courteous and helping.

Lovely large spacious rooms. Restaurant is good, vegetarian spread, but limited dishes. Food quality is excellent.
